Amytopia: September 2009
http://amytopia.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
The biggest kid in the family. September 6, 2009. My friend Carrie thinks she has finally found her calling. That passion that Oprah is always telling us to find. Carrie has the advantage that she doesn't have to work. So she dove into making pillow case dressed. She found her passion and ran with it. Now I'll admit to having a passion, several of them actually. They doesn't. Pay well. Seriously, how many people get sit around all day watching television and get paid. I can even. Amytopia: December 2008
http://amytopia.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
The biggest kid in the family. December 26, 2008. 5 year plan and all that. I'm getting ready for a major upheaval and I paused to consider a few things. Usually, I spend most of my time chasing my tail. Work, drink, sleep, drink, eat, sleep some more, drink some more, and back to work. It's like trying get a Mustang out of ditch in January. Once I'm debt free or nearly so, working for money to pay bills is over and done with. So then why work? Victims I've nurtured. At least when I plant t...Coffee...

Amytopia: I love working with the public
http://amytopia.blogspot.com/2011/01/i-love-working-with-public.html
The biggest kid in the family. January 21, 2011. I love working with the public. And is a shower too much trouble? You know water falling from the sky and a little soap? No, half a bottle of Axe or Lady Stetson will not mask the scent. Now we have a lovely mixture body odor, cheap perfume, and cigarette smoke. I can hold my breath for about 37 seconds, I hope I can be done with you quickly. Her Royal Highness, Princess Amy, Drinker of the Beers, Spewer of Bad Word. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Amytopia: February 2009
http://amytopia.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
The biggest kid in the family. February 24, 2009. Procrastination as an Art Form. I'm suppose to be packing. I hate packing. Mostly because I don't really want or need all the stuff in the house. Seriously, does anyone really need 75 pairs of socks? 160;And all the mateless. Socks, what to do with them. Since I don't want to pack or admit to spending excessive. Amounts of time o n the. Here is what I've accomplished tonight. Enjoyed a delightful garden omelet. At the Huddle House. . Some more. &#...

Amytopia: October 2010
http://amytopia.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
The biggest kid in the family. October 20, 2010. I Like Big Trucks, I Can Not Lie. Over the last year and a half or so, my brother and I switch vehicles on a semi-regular basis. I have a 2007 Toyota Corolla. Red, of course. With power windows, power locks, cruise control, and a few other basic luxuries. And about 37 miles to the gallon. The reason for the trade is all about gas mileage. I drive six blocks to work, he has to go about 60 miles. Each way. Station wagon, cough. So while, I may just break dow...

Amytopia: January 2009
http://amytopia.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
The biggest kid in the family. January 23, 2009. The good, the bad, the indifferent. So, started the new job. Yeah. It pays well and I don't have to get up at 3 AM to go to work. Of course I'm at work at 3AM, but that's the price you pay for fame. I wasn't really wanting to move up here for another year or two, but the economy forced my hand. Things I know I will miss, other than my kid. Things that are looking up for me:. Oh well, such is life. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Lolcats 'n'...

Amytopia: April 2013
http://amytopia.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
The biggest kid in the family. April 3, 2013. I’ve spent so much time on what if. What if i were tall? What if i were blonde? Tried it, hated it) or what if i was a red head? What if i had went to college? What if i had more kids? What if i had no kids? What never got married? What if i stayed married? We spend so much of life holding on to “what if.” what if i got into a better school. what if i had studied more. what if i had partied more. what if, what if, what if, what if. Links to this post.

Amytopia: New Beginning
http://amytopia.blogspot.com/2011/01/new-beginning.html
The biggest kid in the family. January 5, 2011. Ahh, a new year. A new beginning. We ruminate on the year that all to swiftly passed us by. We dream of the untapped potential of the year ahead of us. We turn our thoughts inward to identify some failing and faults. We don the rose colored glasses as we face the future. And, we shiver in our knickers. The changes I want to make include saving more money and losing weight. So, if I stop eating, or at least paying for food, this challenge should be a snap.

Amytopia: August 2010
http://amytopia.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
The biggest kid in the family. August 8, 2010. There comes a time. Getting older is a bitch. Things creak and pop when I walk. When I wake up, it takes longer to get going. And when I fall asleep at nine or ten O'clock on a Saturday night, I don't feel like I've missed anything. Getting older means acceptance. I accept that might never run a marathon. Or race in the Indianapolis 500. And make-up. Seriously, more is just more at my age. There isn't enough concealer in all of the land to hide the s...So, p...

Amytopia: September 2008
http://amytopia.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
The biggest kid in the family. September 23, 2008. Temptation thy name is go-go taquito. Why must I be such a weak woman? I tried being a vegetarian, but I got fat. And since I much prefer to be a size 4 over having to buy jeans in double digits, I think I'm going to go back to my old diet. I'll still indulge in salads and grilled cheese sandwiches, but look out take out, here I come. You can always count on Seven-eleven to have a fine selection of hot dogs and other eat and drive foods. Noth...And Qu...
